Amazon Echo Dot smart speaker $50 $27.99
I love having Echo Dot smart speakers around the house because it makes it so easy to play music when I want, figure out if it's going to rain later, or just control my smart lights using Alexa. Can't hurt to have one more!
We actually like the Echo Dot has a media remote for the Xbox. It's so easy to use with Amazon Alexa's Xbox skill. Control y our console with your voice, which includes functions like turning it on and off or loading up your favorite games or just turning the volume down. There is something really convenient about being able to pause a game or continue playing a movie without lifting a controller.
The 4th-gen Echo Dot is also much more powerful than the 3rd-gen and other versions. The new design gives it the sort of volume that lets it fill a room with music if you want it to. Plus it can hear you from much farther away so you don't even have to get off the couch to get Alexa to tell you the weather. Plus, Amazon is always adding new functionality like the ability to change the voice or even play games.
Don't forget if the Echo Dot doesn't suit your needs, there are a lot of ways to save in the ongoing sale from Amazon. Happy Father's Day!
