Hang in there! Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 soon to be available in India
A Nokia support respresentative has confirmed plans for the company to release the Lumia 520 and Lumia 720 Windows Phones in India later this month and into April. Both Windows Phones were unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2013 and have started to appear in multiple markets. Now it's time for the new Windows Phone 8 devices to hit India and be available in an important, emerging market.
So how much will consumers be expected to fork out for both devices? Pricing remains to be confirmed and Nokia still hasn't confirmed details exactly when the hardware will be available for purchase, but it's believed the Lumia 520 will be priced at Rs. 11,500 ($210) while the Lumia 720 will be around Rs. 19,000 ($350). The two handsets join the Lumia 920, 820 and 620, which are already available in the region.
We'll be sure to keep you all informed as to when it's possible to head on out and pick one up. The Lumia 520 is expected to be released this month, while the Lumia 720 will arrive in April.
