The road to Halo Infinite is reaching peak levels of excitement, as Halo Infinite officially releases Dec. 8, 2021. As we inch closer to Halo Infinite's fated arrival, the flagship title is enjoying tons of partnerships and collaborations on a ton of products, giving fans plenty of ways to share their excitement and potentially own something unique. Today, Seagate is officially joining in on the fun with an official Halo Infinite Special Edition Xbox Game Drive.
The Halo Infinite-themed hard drive from Seagate isn't available yet, and we also don't have a ton of information on it (like price, storage capacity, and release date). We do know that this is a Seagate Game Drive for Xbox, meaning it has full compatibility with Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Xbox One. It also means that, on Xbox Series X|S, this hard drive will be able to store Halo Infinite and other Xbox Series X|S Optimized titles, but it won't be able to play them. You'll still need to use the internal storage on your Xbox Series X|S or the official Seagate expansion card from our list of best external SSDs for Xbox Series X|S.
To offset this compromise a little bit, this Seagate hard drive does feature customizable RGB lighting, which as we all know makes you better at first-person shooters.
We'll keep an eye out for when the official Halo Infinite Seagate Xbox Game Drive becomes available, so you don't miss your chance to pick one up for yourself. In the meantime, here's where you can preorder the Halo Infinite Limited Edition Xbox and Xbox Elite Controller, and what you need to know about the Halo Infinite-themed Razer Kaira Pro headset.
Halo Infinite releases for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Game Pass on Dec. 8, 2021, and Halo Infinite is now available for preorder. However, if you have any concerns about Halo Infinite's campaign, be sure to read why you should think twice about preordering Halo Infinite right now.
