Halo Infinite preorder: Bonuses, editions, and where to buy
Reserve your copy ahead of Halo Infinite's full release.
The next big entry into the Halo series, Halo Infinite, is one of the most ambitious games ever made by series developer 343 Industries — and it might end up being one of the best Xbox games ever. Not only will the game feature a deep and expansive campaign with open world elements and the return of the Banished faction from Halo Wars 2, but the game will also have a free-to-play live service-style multiplayer that returns the franchise to its sandbox-focused roots and aims to deliver fans a satisfying gameplay experience (check out our Halo Infinite hands-on impressions for more on what makes the multiplayer so fun). Halo Infinite, like most of its predecessors, will also come with a Forge mode that allows players to create and edit maps to play on with their friends in Custom Games multiplayer (though notably, Forge will be absent for six months after launch).
Following the recent conclusion of the first Halo Infinite beta test, preorders for the game officially went live. Here's everything you need to know about preordering the game ahead of its launch in Dec. 8, 2021, including what bonuses there are, what editions are available, and where you can buy Halo Infinite.
Halo Infinite preorder: Bonuses
While most Halo Infinite preorders don't appear to offer any sort of bonus, preordering the game from Best Buy or GameStop will net you some exclusive cosmetics in-game. Specifically, you'll get access to the Zeta Sky armor coating skin and weapon coating skin, both of which feature a sky blue coloration with white, black, and gray accents. Players who preorder from Best Buy or GameStop will also get a unique Banished-themed Chosen emblem and nameplate. You can view all of the preorder bonuses in the image above.
We expect that as Halo Infinite's December launch draws nearer, more preorder bonuses from other retailers will be unveiled. We'll make sure to update this article if and when those bonuses are announced.
