343 Industries and Xbox Game Studios' upcoming Halo Infinite campaign recently went gold, meaning development has finished ahead of the game's release date. Now, there's a new launch trailer, giving players another peek at what's in store for Master Chief in the new story. You can check out the trailer below.
343 Industries claims that Halo Infinite's campaign is the largest of any Halo game yet. There's a full list of enemies in the campaign that Master Chief will have to take down, including a deadly "Spartan Killer." The campaign is also more open than past titles, with optional side objectives like rescuing Marines and taking down Banished fortresses, which can grant you upgrades and other rewards like Spartan Cores.
Halo Infinite's campaign is scheduled to arrive on Dec. 8, 2021. Halo Infinite multiplayer launched in beta form back on Nov. 11, and is currently available as a free-to-play download on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC and Xbox One.
