  • The encyclopedia will cover the entire Halo universe in rich detail.

Dark Horse Comics has announced that in collaboration with Halo developer 343 Industries, the publisher is releasing a brand new Halo Encyclopedia book that "encompasses two decades of epic storytelling with stunning, never-before-seen art and the most comprehensive and detailed exploration yet of Halo's myriad characters, mysterious worlds, and incredible technologies." Based on this official description, it sounds like the book will be a fantastic resource for fans who want to recap the story of Halo so far or dive deep into some of its lesser-known narratives.

In terms of when the book will be available, Dark Horse has confirmed that the book will officially release on March 29, 2022 — only a few months after Halo Infinite's expected launch. Notably, the book won't be available in comic stores until March 30. The book costs $45 and can be preordered now.
