What you need to know

  • Grounded is a unique survival game from a small, dedicated team at Obsidian Entertainment.
  • Today, the game celebrates one year since its early access first released to the public.
  • Not quite in celebration, Obsidian Entertainment has released the 0.10.3 patch update for Grounded.
  • The update is decidedly minor, and includes a tiny handful of bug fixes and minor improvements.

Today marks one year since Grounded first became available on Xbox One and PC in early access. The team at Obsidian Entertainment hosted a stream to celebrate the occasion, and released the 0.10.3 patch update for Grounded. Those two events are entirely unrelated, as the 0.10.3 patch update is exceedingly minor and doesn't have anything to do with Grounded's first anniversary, other than happening on the same day.

Grounded has already proven itself to be one of the best Xbox survival games, and it hasn't even fully released yet. The Grounded early access continues to evolve over time with new updates, and the 0.10.3 patch update is aimed at polishing the previously released Shroom and Doom Update.

Grounded is currently available for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Game Pass. The 0.10.3 patch update is now available to all players, so be sure to download it as soon as possible.
