It only took half a lifetime, but we're finally living in an age where the new generation Xbox consoles aren't completely sold out everywhere. And that means we actually have an opportunity to see a few deals here and there! Right now at Woot you can get the Xbox Series S Fortnite and Rocket League bundle, and you can actually get it on sale for $279.99. That's a $20 discount off the bundle's regular price. Of course, the bundle itself was already a pretty good deal considering it went for the regular price of the Xbox Series S with all of these extras. And the extra discount is especially nice considering it's a huge step up from "please, please let me just find one in stock."

Remember that Woot always has a mandatory flat-fee shipping charge. You'll have to take that into account for the price as well. The only way around it is to use your Amazon Prime membership.

The Xbox Series S is the lighter, more affordable version of Microsoft's next-gen console. You can read all about it in our review that gave it 4 stars out of 5. The Series S certainly compromises on same things, but it can still provide you with a fantastic gaming experience. For example, you're not going to get 4K gaming out of this machine like you would the Series X, but you can still get 120 fps, which is great for shooters like Fortnite or Halo Infinite.

One of the big things about the Series S is that it does not have a physical disc drive. That's not a big deal these days as most games are bought digitally, but it does make a subscription service like Game Pass all the more appealing. That way you can play all the games you want all the time and never have to worry about a disc.

Given that this bundle is tied to the game Fortnite, you might want to check out some of the new changes to the game for its upcoming season. They removed building, which is pretty awesome for newcomers and veterans alike. They also added some extra parkour-like movement to make up for it. Now is the perfect time to get into this crazy Battle Royale.
