Ubisoft details future Ghost Recon Wildlands multiplayer updates
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands launched as a somewhat uninspired game but subsequent updates have greatly enhanced the experience. The competitive multiplayer mode is about to get even better.
Recently, the title got an expansion called Ghost War. Ghost War is a player vs. player mode which features tense team-based matches. Many gamers thought that the expansion wouldn't be updated with new content as it's a minor part of the game. However, Ubisoft surprised everyone with an expansive plan today. Ghost War will receive many new features and content in the coming months.
Every month a new update will hit Ghost War until April 2018. The Interference update is available today and you can download it on your platform of choice. Like Interference, these updates will contain a variety of new classes, maps, modes, and gameplay tweaks. Season Pass and Ghost War Pass owners will get early access to the new classes a week before others.
Ghost Recon Wildlands is the first military shooter in a massive open world that you can play entirely solo or in four-player co-op. A few years from now, Bolivia has become the largest cocaine producer in the world. The Santa Blanca Cartel have turned the country into a narco-state. As a Ghost, you must stop the Cartel by any means necessary. If you have yet to play the game and want to give it a try, a free five-hour trial is now available on all platforms.
