Get hyped for the Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta with its latest trailer
Players will be able to get their first hands-on look at Star Wars Battlefront 2 this week.
Ahead of this week's launch of the Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta, EA has released a new trailer to stoke the hype. It's only 30 seconds long, but the beta trailer gives a tantalizing look at the battles to come across the beta test period. Oh, and there are plenty of explosions, too.
The Star Wars Battlefront 2 beta is set to kick of across Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 4 for anyone who preordered. Everyone else will be able to jump in starting on October 6. The beta period will close on October 9.
Throughout the beta test, EA says you'll be able to jump into and test out three of the game's major multiplayer experiences across each Star Wars era. The Galactic Assault on Naboo will pit players against one another in a 20 vs. 20 battle across several stages. Starfighter Assault on Fondor, meanwhile, will let players try out their piloting skills with Battlefront 2's three new starfighter classes. Finally, Strike on Takodana will let players try their hand at one of the game's four classes as the Resistance and First Order do battle around Maz Kanata's castle.
Arcade mode will also be up for testing, letting you take on AI opponents either solo or with a friend. Couch co-op is available via Arcade mode as well.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 is scheduled for release on November 17 and is up for preorder now starting at $59.99. For more on the game, check out our rundown on everything we know about Star Wars Battlefront 2.
