For years now, actor and wrestler Dave Bautista has been eyeing the role of Marcus Fenix in the upcoming Gears of War film. While progress on the project is moving quite slowly, you'll still be able to see Bautista in action in Gears 5. Now, you might be wondering how. Well, he's a playable character in the multiplayer mode from the looks of it.

To unlock Bautista, simply play any version of Gears 5, including with your Xbox Game Pass membership, beginning September 15. The promotion ends on October 28.
Gears 5 is an upcoming third-person shooter from Microsoft's The Coalition team. The studio has worked on Gears of War 4 in the past, and it wants to make the sequel an even bigger adventure. The game is also more advanced on a technical front. According to Gears 5's Multiplayer Design Director, the franchise will feature 60 Hz servers for the first time.
