Well, that didn't take long for Pearl Abyss to start making good on its promise to update Crimson Desert, as it has just rolled out its first of many patches planned to be added over the Summer on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.

This patch, titled 1.10.00, is primarily focused on improving Re-Blockades. It's a gameplay feature where armies of enemies fight to reclaim strongholds the player has liberated.

Re-Blockades haven't been very well-received by players due to a lack of satisfying rewards and very few viable ways to defend strongholds during combat. This update plans to address this by adding new mechanics to help players defend strongholds and offer better rewards to make this activity worth the time and effort.

This update is also adding the ability to ride Baby Wyverns and the new Kuku Bird Chick pet as mounts, unwind with new Pinball and Orb Roll, and various bug fixes and miscellaneous gameplay additions.

Here are the full patch notes for update 1.10.00, as taken from the Crimson Desert website.

Stay tuned for more updates to come as Pearl Abyss is planning to add Cross-platform saving, improve combat content and mechanics for Damiane & Oongka (in which I hope they get more wrestling moves), Quality-of-Life Improvements for Non-Combat Content, and storyline adjustments in the future.
