Microsoft has revealed that Minecraft Battle, a multiplayer mini-game mode, will be released for the Xbox One and other console versions as a free update to the sandbox game on June 21.
The reveal of the game's update date was posted on the official Xbox Twitter account. Windows Central got a chance to play with a beta version of Minecraft Battle not too long ago. It will feature players battling against each other, both online and offline, until one player is left standing. Minecraft Battle will be the first of a series of mini-games that will be released for the console versions of Minecraft.
