Free in-game items coming for Forza Horizon 4 and Sea of Thieves for watching X018
The big X018 event in Mexico is almost here and folks watching at home look like they'll be getting some free in-game stuff.
It's not uncommon for Microsoft to offer free in-game rewards for folks who watch its content through Mixer, and it looks very much like the upcoming X018 event in Mexico City will be bringing some more.
Originally, the news came from a tweet by Xbox's Major Nelson, Larry Hyrb. But, for whatever reason, that tweet was deleted. Not before the eagle-eyed folks at True Achievements caught it, though. Presumably, it slipped out too early, but it looks like Microsoft will be offering in-game items for both Forza Horizon 4 and Sea of Thieves.

As ever you'll only be able to claim the items by watching if your Mixer account is linked to the Microsoft account you use for gaming on Xbox One or PC. Assuming they're linked all you'll have to do is tune in to the X018 stream and get your sweet rewards.
The fun and games at X018 kicks off this Saturday, November 10 at 1 p.m. Pacific. You'll be able to watch along on the official Xbox Mixer channel.
