Forza Motorsport 7 Race Regulations goes into open beta
The latest development is available for all players to test starting today.
Approaching two years into its life, Forza Motorsport 7 is still getting regular new updates and the latest is geared towards the competitive community. The latest incarnation of the Forza Race Regulations ruleset will be available from some time today, April 11, and this time it's an open beta for anyone to try out.
Up to now, Turn 10 has been working with invited players from the competitive scene on the Forza Race Regulations, but is now opening that up to all players via a dedicated in-game hopper.
To access Forza Race Regulations:
- Start the game.
- Go to multiplayer.
- Select the Forza Race Regulations Beta-Hopper from the list.
The Forza RC official championship is one of a number of esports series that uses Forza Motorsport 7, with others including the official Le Mans esports series and Apex Online Racing's Touring Car Championship. Race Regulations will provide, finally, a true competitive ruleset that should help to solve issues such as lengthy post-race adjudications as has been the case in the past.
Whether you're an aspiring professional racer or just looking for something a little more serious to enjoy in your virtual racing, the Forza Race Regulations mode should provide what you're looking for. Turn 10 hasn't provided a specific time the mode goes live, so keep an eye on their socials for further announcements.
Pro regulations for all
Forza Motorsport 7 is one of the premier esports racing titles on Xbox and the new Race Regulations mode gives anyone a taste of the pro scene.
