Forza Motorsport 6: Apex halts at the pit stop for an update
Forza Motorsport 6: Apex on Windows 10 has picked up an update. The release appears to be a small one, clocking in at just 65MB, and contains minor fixes and enhancements to hardware detection. Since we're talking about the popular series of racing games, one could conclude this update makes the gameplay seem faster.
Here's what is new in version 1.1.9.0, according to the published changelog:
- For users who run into driver issues with Apex, we have included information on the latest hardware driver available.
- Fixed an issue with hardware detection whereby users with multiple GPUs were incorrectly being told they could not play Apex. This change will mostly affect laptop users with an embedded GPU.
If you haven't already, I highly recommend you give our in-depth Forza 6 Apex preview a read through should you wish to learn more about the title, which can be downloaded for free from the Windows Store.
