Fortnite Season 4 officially begins May 1
Season 3's Battle Pass expires very soon and there is no waiting for the next one.
It's not entirely unsurprising, given the Season 3 Battle Pass in Fortnite Battle Royale expires in a matter of hours, but Epic Games has officially announced Season 4 will begin on May 1.
Brace for impact!

Season 3 officially ends at 7.30 a.m. BST on May 1 (2.30 a.m. Eastern, 11.30 p.m. April 30 on the West Coast) and from there we'd expect a period of downtime while the update is pushed out.
There has been a ton of speculation in the community over Season 4, and in particular what the result of the giant rock in the sky will end up being. Smaller meteors can already be seen striking parts of the map during games, and the latest teaser image for Season 4 could well look a bit like a post-strike wasteland.
In any case, we'll know what it's all about in less than 24 hours. And if you still need to complete your Battle Pass for Season 3 and get that awesome John Wick skin, you don't have long left to grind it out!
