First look at Rainbow Six Siege Burnt Horizon's Gridlock and Mozzie

Ubisoft has unveiled the next major update headed to Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, with a new Australian season dubbed Operation Burnt Horizon. The upcoming expansion ventures down under, promising two new playable Operators of Special Air Service Regiment (SASR) descent, paired with a new Outback-themed map.

While yet to formally reveal Burnt Horizon's contents, alleged leaks have already established the foundation for "Mozzie" and "Gridlock." First detailed in December, expect the duo to deliver two new creative gadgets, from a proximity-based "red web tracker" to a defensive drone-hacking device. And although still unconfirmed, Ubisoft assets have now surfaced on the official Rainbow Six site.

As posted to Reddit, premature Ubisoft listings provide further authority to previous leaks, detailing the two Operators alongside clearer marketing assets. While providing little information on their in-game capabilities, it's our first clear look at the Australian grease monkeys in action.

Expect a deeper dive into both Operators during the week ahead, alongside Operation Burnt Horizon's other contents. A full reveal is slated for February 17, 2019 at the Six Invitational in Montreal.

With Year 4 around the corner, Rainbow Six Siege is now available for $25 via Amazon.
