During yesterday's Ubisoft Forward event, Far Cry 6 was officially revealed. While we're still waiting to see gameplay foortage, Ubisoft has a released a batch of screenshots for the game. You can check out all these screenshots in the gallery below.
Far Cry 6 takes place in the fictional tropical country of Yara, which is ruled by the El Presidente Anton Castillo. Castillo is portrayed by Giancarlo Esposito, an accomplished actor well-known for his role as Gustavo Fring in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Players take on the role of a freedom fighter named Dani Rojas, who can be a man or a woman.
Far Cry 6 is currently set to be available on February 18, 2021. It'll release on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, PS4, PS5 and Stadia. If you buy the game on Xbox One or PS4, you'll be able to get a free upgrade to the Xbox Series X or PS5 version respectively. We don't have a lot of details at to exactly what those enhancements will contain beyond 4K resolution.

Far Cry 6 features the largest world of any Far Cry game ever. Using molotov cocktails and a variety of weapons, you'll need to fight tooth and nail to bring down the regime of Anton Castillo.
