One of the wonderful surprises revealed during the PC Gaming Show at E3 2021 is absolutely the official debut of FAR: Changing Tides, the gorgeous and mesmerizing continuation of the universe built by studio Okomotive in the award-winning adventure game FAR: Lone Sails. FAR: Changing Tides enters the world with an incredible-looking trailer, which encapsulates a lot of what made its predecessor so loved by players. Not only has FAR: Changing Tides been revealed, it's also a lot closer than you'd expect.
You can watch the reveal trailer below, and also find some beautiful screenshots at the bottom.
FAR: Changing Tides follows the story of Toe, who is saved from a horrible fate by an abandoned ship. Toe will journey in their discovered vessel across a nearly inhospitable world, and attempt to find out exactly what happened to their home. As expected for the sequel to FAR: Lone Sails, Changing Tides captures the player's attention with its surreal visuals and the return of talented composer Joel Schoch, who worked on the original soundtrack.
Players won't have to wait long to play FAR: Changing Tides, as the game from Frontier Developments and Okomotive arrives simultaneously on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, PS5, PS4, and Switch in late 2021.
Hopefully, we'll get to see more of FAR: Changing Tides ahead of its launch later this year, as it looks like Okomotive could be poised to deliver another of the best PC games around.
