Everything EA announced at E3 2018
EA revealed new gameplay for Anthem, Battlefield V, and much more at the event.
Today, EA held its annual E3 press event "EA Play 2018". A variety of new games were announced and we got an in-depth look at Anthem on Xbox One X alongside other titles. You can read about everything the publisher announced at the press event below.
Battlefield V
EA opened the show with Battlefield V. Players can smash through windows and interact with the environment in new ways. As was revealed a few weeks ago, the single-player scenarios feature untold stories of heroism. DICE stressed the fact that the plot revolves around real and relatable people facing the brutality of war. While more gameplay would be shared during Microsoft's press event tomorrow, the developers did reveal that a battle royale mode was coming to the game later. Lastly, Battlefield V doesn't feature any loot boxes or Premium Pass.
FIFA 19
EA revealed this year's installment of the staple FIFA franchise. FIFA 19 will feature upgraded Champions League and Ultimate Team modes. Luckily, the wait won't be too long because the game is launching on September 28, 2018. You can play the entire FIFA 18 experience as a free trial on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4 today.
Origin Access Premier
EA announced its official game streaming service which is in active development. You'll be able to stream EA games to any device in the near future. Apart from that, Origin Access on PC is getting an expansion called Origin Access Premier with more benefits.
Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order
The game takes place during The Dark Times and you play as a Jedi. It's set been Star Wars: Episode III and Episode IV. The game is expected to launch during the Holiday 2019 season.
Star Wars Battlefront II
DICE highlighted the fact that the game was getting even more content for the Han Solo Season. Modes like Extraction will also be added to Star Wars Battlefront II in the near future. Lastly, the game will get The Clone Wars content and new characters like General Grievous, Anakin Skywalker, Count Dooku, and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Sea of Solitude
Sea of Solitude focuses on how people experience different types of loneliness. Just like Submerged, the title wants you to explore a flooded city with intermittent traversing on land.
NBA Live 19
EA officially announced NBA Live 19. The game looks like a significant step forward over last year's entry in the staple franchise.
Madden NFL 19
Some young celebrities announced Madden NFL 19. Just like NBA Live 19, the game looks like a significant step forward over last year's entry in the acclaimed franchise.
Command & Conquer: Rivals
A lot of people were shouting when two gamers were playing the lackluster mobile strategy game. It was a very confusing time for everyone involved. The game is only coming to Android and iOS.
Anthem
Anthem got a new trailer which featured game engine footage. Anthem looks absolutely breathtaking and features a variety of weapons. The world constantly changes due to storms and other natural disasters. If that wasn't enough, the open world is filled with dangerous creatures and other intelligent threats. Lastly, Anthem will feature cosmetic microtransactions, but no loot crates, and no pay-to-win mechanics. The title will provide new content for a long period of time, maybe even years to come as it evolves and grows.
Aside from EA's contributions to charity, those were all of the game announcements from EA Play 2018. A lot of great experiences are coming to Xbox One in the coming months from the publisher, and hopefully, you're as excited as we are for games like Anthem and Battlefield V.
