The second and final expansion for Doom Eternal is getting closer. As previously promised, the teaser for Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part Two DLC has been released, giving players a glimpse at the massive battle awaiting. You can check out the teaser trailer below:

A full length trailer is coming on March 17, so we won't be waiting too long to see what else is in store. Interestingly enough, id Software is teasing that this DLC will be the final chapter in the current Doom story, with the trailer description indicating that "The epic conclusion to the DOOM Slayer's saga is coming soon" and that "Your war against Hell ends here."

Doom Eternal is one of the best Xbox games available right now, so it'll be interesting to see how this final DLC pans out and if the story is truly ending.

Doom Eternal developer id Software, alongside its sister studios at like Arkane Studios, MachineGames, Tango Gameworks and others, are all part of ZeniMax Media, which has been acquired by Microsoft, making all of these Bethesda Softworks teams Xbox first-party. Head of Xbox Phil Spencer has indicated that outside of contractual obligations, future Bethesda games will be exclusive to platforms "where Game Pass exists."
