Does the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 have a USB-C port?
What kind of USB-C does the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 support?
Dell's latest XPS 13 2-in-1 convertible laptop does indeed support USB-C peripherals. In fact, it has two USB-C ports, both of which are Thunderbolt 3-enabled, and that means faster transfer speeds and more power through said ports. A Thunderbolt 3-enabled port can support external accessories like dedicated GPUs, enabling more powerful graphics processing for rendering or gaming.
These USB-C ports are also used for charging and should charge the device very quickly thanks to the high passthrough rate enabled by Thunderbolt 3. Unfortunately, USB-C is the only port you're getting on the XPS 13 2-in-1; the device is so thin that it only has room to fit an additional port: the 3.5mm headphone jack. There's no USB-A on this device, which means you will need a dongle for any non-USB-C accessories.
