Does Alienware m15 have an HDMI port?
Welcome to port heaven
Dell did a fine job with the Alienware m15, not only with the design and included components, but also the available ports. You'll not only find multiple USB ports, alongside Thunderbolt and Gigabit Ethernet, but also HDMI 2.0. Should you have a monitor at hand to connect the notebook to, you're good to go.
Why HDMI 2.0 is an important distinction is because it offers support for 4K displays. Not all HDMI ports are created equal and if you have a 4K monitor you wish to use, it's important you have a gaming notebook with at least HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.3, or compatible Thunderbolt ports.
Luckily, the Alienware m15 has you covered and is kitted out with everything you'll need at a LAN even or in your office. In terms of performance, the Alienware m15 can be configured with 32GB of RAM, an Intel Core i7 processor, 1TB SSD, and MaxQ NVIDIA GTX 1070 GPU. That's quite the gaming setup considering the weight and dimensions of the notebook, which features a chassis that measures around 0.8 inches thick and weighs just 4.8 pounds.
All the internals, plus its tiny size, make this a very compact gaming notebook, which is a rare find even these days. You can check out our hands-on above for more details.
Portable gaming machine
A gaming laptop doesn't need to weigh a ton and be the size of a lorry to be capable of playing games, which is exactly what Dell has shown with the new Alienware m15.
