DJ Khaled to kick off new Xbox Live Sessions show on Mixer
Feel like you need a little more celebrity endorsement with your Xbox love? Microsoft has a show for that.
Microsoft is getting ready to debut a new celebrity-infused livestream show on Mixer for Xbox fans. Called Xbox Live Sessions, the show will feature "some of the world's most celebrated pop-culture icons as they play highly anticipated new titles on Xbox One," Microsoft says.
To kick things off, Microsoft is bringing in DJ Khaled for the inaugural Xbox Live Sessions, which will stream live on August 25 on the Xbox Mixer channel. No word on how long each stream will last, but the first will see DJ Khaled playing Madden NFL 18 as he answers fan questions and gives away prizes.
Going forward, Microsoft says to expect more celebrity guests, including athletes, actors, and musicians, all of whom will answer questions while playing new and upcoming games. And even if you don't care much about the celebrity aspect of the show, it sounds like there will be plenty of giveaways to check out.
The first stream featuring DJ Khaled will air on August 25 starting at 6:00 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET (find your local time here).
