Tropico 6 is a city-building experience but you take on the role of a hilarious dictator. Influencing elections and lying to your constituents is just part of the job! The Xbox Game Preview version features the full single-player experience, with further updates including multiplayer, and a random map generator. However, other enhancements to arrive at a later date, ahead of the game's full release this fall. It's also Xbox One X Enhanced and runs at 4K resolution on the system.
The console version of Tropico 6 adds a refined, accessible and fully-optimized control scheme for controllers. If you've played games like Tropico 5, Sudden Strike 4, Railway Empire, and Dungeons 3, you'll feel right at home.
In our review, we said, "It's truly one of the best city building games of all time, and it has an excellent amount of polish, depth, and satire that all help it feel like a unique experience. The cluttered interface is a downside, but it's hardly one that impacts the overall gameplay much."
Rule with an iron fist
Tropico 6 is a perfect blend of engaging strategy and satirical comedy, resulting in an experience that any city building fan will love.
