Microsoft is getting ready to kick off another Xbox One free play weekend, this time with Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Ultimate Evil Edition. From Thursday, July 27 through Monday, July 31, Xbox Live Gold members will be able to download and play the Diablo III bundle release for free, Microsoft has announced.
To recap, the Ultimate Evil Edition bundles the original Diablo III with its Reaper of Souls expansion. That gives you access to not only the base classes and acts, but also the Crusader class, the story's fifth chapter, a raised level cap, and much more. During the free play weekend, you can adventure through Diablo III's dark storyline and take on the hordes of hell without any limits, teaming up with friends along the way.
Diablo III itself will also be up for grabs at a solid 35 percent discount throughout the free play period, bringing the price down to $38.99
As usual, Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to download the game via the Gold member area on the Xbox One dashboard.
