It wouldn't be E3 season without game reveals before the event. THQ Nordic has announced Darksiders Genesis, a spin-off title from the main series that will feature top-down RPG gameplay similar to Diablo. Developer Airship Syndicate, the studio behind Battle Chasers: Nightwar and comprised of former Vigil employees, is helming the project.
According to IGN, Darksiders Genesis will be playable at E3 2019, and it will feature "intense combat, exploration, puzzle-solving, epic boss battles and serpent holes from heaven to hell." It is expected to release this year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Google Stadia.
Strife enters the battlefield
Darksiders Genesis should be up for pre-order on Amazon soon. War and Strife are on a mission to hunt down master demons throughout Hell, and they'll encounter a load of threats on their way.
