Destiny 2 to get new Engram soon
Let's hope they drop easily!
What you need to know
- Destiny 2 is a popular first-person shooter from Bungie.
- The game will be upgraded for Xbox Series X.
- A future update will add a new type of Engram.
- You can purchase Destiny 2: Shadowkeep for $35 on the Microsoft Store.
A few months ago, Destiny 2 developer Bungie revealed that it was going to have a maximum power level cap on weapons and armor going forward. This means that after a few seasons, your gear won't be able to get stronger. While this isn't a great situation to be in, it does keep the pursuit of new items relevant. Let's hope that it'll be easy to earn Ascendant Shards which are required to upgrade armor because they're quite the grind right now. You barely get enough to upgrade multiple sets during a season.
Now that the bad news is out of the way, let me tell you that there's going to be a new Engram added to the game. Yesterday, Bungie revealed that on its website.
Bungie should make it easier to earn Engrams with great loot because right now many players are frustrated by acquiring junk gear. Maybe they'll be easy to earn too.
Are you excited about these changes? I personally only would've liked to see weapon have an cap because it's easy to find Cores, but difficult to come across a lot of Ascendant Shards.
Huge shoutout to Ric Molina for the tip.
The Darkness has arrived
Shadowkeep is the latest Destiny 2 expansion, bringing players a terrifying new adventure against the Hive and sees the arrival of a mysterious, fear-inducing threat.
