Dell's final shipping days before Christmas confirmed for XPS laptops, Alienware, and more
We learned the hard way last year that the closer we get to Christmas, the more online stores struggle to keep up with shipping dates. Luckily, Dell's online store has released a schedule detailing exactly when you should get your orders in if you expect the products by a certain date. That's a huge benefit considering Dell has been one of the best places to shop for electronics deals this holiday season.
Probably the most important date listed here is today. Today, Dec. 15, is the last day you can order something through Dell.com, use a standard delivery method, and expect to get it before Christmas. Starting tomorrow, you will need to upgrade to a faster delivery method, which means you'll generally have to pay a bit more.
Here are some of the best Dell deals going on right now, which includes laptops, desktops, monitors, and other accessories.
The final date to order from Dell and get your gift before Christmas is Tuesday, Dec. 22. You'll have to pay for Express Delivery, which is often $25 or more, to get it before the big day. But at least you can still make some last minute purchases if you need to.
Avoid that extra shipping fee and order something today before 3 p.m. Eastern for the tech savvy loved ones in your life.
Since we're on the subject, Dell also has a very generous return policy for the holidays. Any purchases made between now and December 25 are eligible for a full refund and free return shipping as long as it's done before January 15 or within 30 days of the product's invoice. That's a nice security blanket in case something goes wrong.
