Dell announced the OptiPlex 7070 Ultra, a unique PC that hides inside a monitor stand. Dell calls it the "world's most flexible commercial desktop solution" because it allows businesses to upgrade components of the OptiPlex 7070 separately. The design also reduces wire clutter, as all of the PC components are hidden inside the stand. The OptiPlex 7070 will be available starting September 24, 2019 for an average starting price of $749.
Users can upgrade the PC and display separately, so they don't have to replace the entire system when they want to upgrade or replace a component. The system works with several setups including height adjusted stands, fixed stands, VESA mounts, and monitor arm mounts.
The OptiPlex 7070 Ultra supports up to three displays from 19 to 27 inches. A single cable can be used to transmit power, data, video, and audio with compatible monitors.
