Dell announced the Dell G5 15 Special Edition (SE) at CES 2020. The gaming laptop is the first in the Dell G Series line to feature 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen 4000 H-Series mobile processors and AMD Radeon RX 5600M GPUs (up to 8-cores and 16 threads). The Dell G5 15 SE will be available in April 2020, starting at $800.
The laptop's processor and GPU work together using AMD SmartShift to optimize performance. Using Smartshift, the laptop can shift power between the CPU and GPU as needed. The Dell G5 15 SE also features Game Shift macro keys to quickly launch game-ready settings, which can increase a game's performance.
