Definitive 'Dark Souls Trilogy' coming to Xbox One in October
Prepare to die (a lot).
Bandai Namco took to Gamescom 2018 with a special surprise for Dark Souls fans. The Dark Souls Trilogy is headed to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this October, bring the definitive versions of each game to players in one convenient package.
In all, the trilogy set will come with Dark Souls Remastered, which launched earlier this year; Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin; and Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition. Players will not only get each of the games in one package, but they'll pick up all of the DLC that has been released for each title as well.
Dark Souls has a loyal following who embraced the brutal difficulty presented by each title. But for those who are new to the franchise, this will be a great way to dive in and see what all the hubbub is about. Just be prepared to die. A lot.
The Dark Souls Trilogy will be available across Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 19 and is up for preorder now for $79.
Praise the sun.
