Cyberpunk 2077 lets you hop into memories in new Braindancing gameplay
November can't come soon enough because Cyberpunk 2077 looks amazing.
What you need to know
- CD Projekt RED showed off some new gameplay for Braindances.
- Braindances allow players to experience the memories of other characters.
- These memories can be paused and edited to find different clues that you may have missed normally.
During Night City Wire, CD Projekt RED showed off some Braindancing gameplay in Cyberpunk 2077. This appears to be an integral feature that allows players to experience the memories of other characters in a virtual reality environment in-game. This can be used to further explore various themes throughout the world and complete missions.
When using the Braindance editor, players can actually pause, edit, and move about a specific memory in analysis mode, giving them the opportunity to find clues that they may have missed the first time. Its 6-minute demo gives us a good look at how this can all play out.
Cyberpunk 2077 was recently delayed and is now set to launch on November 19, 2020. It is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5, and PC. Those who purchase on Xbox One and PS4 will receive free upgrades for its next-gen version.
There's a city to burn
Cyberpunk 2077 aims to be CD Projekt RED's most ambitious game yet, with a mature story set in the corrupt yet thriving Night City. As V, track down the secrets to digital immortality however you see best.
