Custom gamerpic uploads come to the Xbox Beta app for Android
The option to set a custom gamerpic for your Xbox profile is slowly making its way to more people, and now Android users with the Xbox Beta app can take part. Xbox director of programming Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb has announced on Twitter that the option to set a custom gamerpic with the Xbox Beta app on Android will be enabled later today.

This follows up on custom gamerpics making their way to the Xbox Beta app for Windows 10 in mid-April. As we saw with the initial rollout, getting started is fairly simple. All you have to do is head to your profile page from the hamburger menu, click "Customize," select the option to edit your gamerpic, then tap "Choose a custom picture." From there, you can upload your custom gamerpic, save it, and then it will be applied after a short review process to ensure nothing that violates Microsoft's rules gets by. It's worth noting that any custom gamerpics must meet the 1080x1080 minimum size restriction.
Though Xbox Insiders have been able to upload custom gamerpics for a while now, the Xbox Beta apps are open to everyone to download and make the process much more seamless. If you're down for uploading your own custom pic, you can do so now with the Windows 10 Xbox Beta app, and the option should be available later today on Android.
