Cuphead now available on Xbox One and Windows 10 with Xbox Play Anywhere

Cuphead, the long-anticipated Xbox console exclusive platformer, is now available on Xbox One and Windows 10. If you've been waiting to immerse yourself in Cuphead's early 1900s cartoon aesthetic, you can grab it now for $19.99.

Cuphead has been one of the most hyped Xbox launches in some time, which largely comes down to the game's unique look. With entirely hand-drawn sprites, Cuphead channels the whacky, and frankly sometimes creepy, look of classic cartoons from the 1930s. As for its gameplay, Cuphead is built as a "Run 'n Gun" experience with directional shooting similar to the Contra series. Belying its cutesy look, the game is widely regarded as a difficult beast by everyone who has had some hands-on time with it.

Rounding things out, Cuphead was built as an Xbox Play Anywhere game. That means that once you buy it, you own it on both Xbox One and Windows 10. If you're down to give Cuphead a shot, you can pick it up now for $19.99 from Microsoft. And if you're still on the fence, check out our full, in-depth Cuphead review for more.
