The Crew 2 gets demolition derby DLC soon (update)
The Crew 2 keeps on getting better.
Updated November 29, 2018: Demolition Derby, the second free update for The Crew 2, will be available on December 5, 2018.
The Crew 2 has had its fair share of ups and downs. While title is seen as a marked improvement over The Crew, it's still not on the level of the Forza Horizon series when it comes to its technical ambitions. However, Ubisoft is committed to the experience and keeps on releasing expansions. Today, the publisher teased the "Demolition Derby" content.
Demolition Derby is a motorsport usually found in county fairs. The typical event consists of a couple of vehicles competing by deliberately ramming into each other. The last driver whose vehicle is still working is declared the winner. As expected, it's a staple in the United States, but has found popularity outside of the country as well.

In our review, we said, "There's a saying that's probably going to be thrown around a fair bit at The Crew 2: Jack of all trades, master of none. Ubisoft should be rewarded for its ambition, but ultimately ambition has translated into an overly busy experience that's got a little too much going on. The core elements, that is, the bits that take place on four wheels, are very good. Entirely arcade-y, sometimes frustrating, but ultimately beautiful to look at and fun to play."
