Coship Moly X1 unlocked smartphone with Windows 10 Mobile now available for $300
A smartphone that we got to check out nearly a year ago is finally available for sale in the U.S. The Coship Moly X1, a 5.5-inch unlocked smartphone with Windows 10 Mobile installed, can be bought on Amazon, via a third-party seller, for $299.99.
Microsoft first revealed China-based Coship Mobile as a hardware partner for Windows Phone at the 2015 Mobile World Congress trade show in early March. We also got some hands-on time with their Coship X1 device, which at the time was running Windows Phone 8.1. Now that same smartphone, with the exact same hardware specs, is on sale at Amazon, via the Mcloud-US seller. Shipments of the phone, which are being imported from China, are expected to start Jan. 25.
Aside from Windows 10 Mobile, the hardware specs in the phone remain exactly the same as the model we saw in March 2015:
- 5.5-inch HD or Full HD display with Gorilla Glass
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 CPU
- 2GB of RAM
- 16GB internal storage with microSD expansion
- 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash
- 5MP front camera
- 2600mAh battery
The phone is also just 6.9mm thick, which makes it one of the thinnest smartphones on the market. The unlocked Coship Moly X1 will work on AT&T and T-Mobile's networks.
