Check out these cursed Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Xbox controllers
Who doesn't want to feel like you're holding Sonic while you play a game?
What you need to know
- Xbox and Paramount Pictures have partnered for a new giveaway, with two special Xbox controllers and an Xbox Series S.
- The controllers are textured with bristles in Knuckles Red and Sonic Blue, while the Xbox Series S features a Gold Ring design.
- These controllers and console aren't being sold but instead are up for grabs in a giveaway.
If you've ever looked at your controllers and wished for more bristles, you're in luck. Microsoft is partnering with Paramount Pictures for a special giveaway, creating two Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Xbox controllers, one themed after Sonic and the other after Knuckles.
As shared on Xbox Wire, these controllers have red and blue bristles, while they're accompanied by a special Xbox Series S emblazoned with the Gold Ring. If you want to get your hands on these special textured controllers, you'll want to enter the sweepstakes by quote-tweeting the announcement below and then including the hashtag #XboxSonic2Sweepstakes.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is slated to release in theaters on April 8, 2022. The first Sonic the Hedgehog movie released back in February 2020 and reached over $319 million at the box office, notable for finding success despite the onset of the global pandemic that hampered box office returns as numerous theaters closed. Looking ahead, a third movie and a spin-off show featuring Knuckles are also in development, though there's no release window for either project right now.
