Capcom releases Resident Evil 7 Gold Edition, final expansions
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Gold Edition content is available now on Xbox One, Windows PC, and PlayStation 4.
The launch of the Gold Edition coincides with the debut of the remaining expansions for the game called Not a Hero and End of Zoe. Not a Hero is available as a free download for all Resident Evil 7 owners, featuring the return of fan-favorite Chris Redfield. Taking place after the horrific events that Ethan Winters goes through, Chris is on the hunt for Lucas Baker to bring an end to the Baker tragedy once and for all.
End of Zoe is included in the Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Gold Edition or as an update for Season Pass owners. In it, you play as a previously unseen member of the Baker family. You can experience the stranger side of survival horror as you fight using hand-to-hand combat with the horrific creatures in the swamps of the Baker estate. Owners of the original release can also purchase the content as a separate download for $14.99.
We reviewed Resident Evil 7 many months ago and gave it a perfect score. If you haven't experienced the title's revival of the classic survival horror formula yet, be sure to check it out at retailers. This is the game that Resident Evil fans have been waiting for because it successfully revives the franchise.
