Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is an upcoming first-person shooter from Activision's Infinity Ward team. The studio developed the original Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, so it has the necessary experience to shine a modern light on the franchise. Unlike 2018's Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare features a single-player campaign as well as traditional multiplayer modes. The game has a number of amazing collector's editions, one of which comes with night-vision goggles.
Captain Price and his cigar make a return
The stakes have never been higher as players take on the role of lethal operators in a heart-racing saga that will affect the global balance of power. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare engulfs fans in an incredibly raw, gritty, provocative narrative that focuses on the changing nature of modern war.
Recently, GamesRadar+'s Leon Hurley managed to capture a few images of some night-vision goggles on display. You can take a look the images below. According to one of the captions, they're part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare - Dark Edition. Since the multiplayer reveal is scheduled for August 1, the collector's edition might be announced then. This particular bundle is rumored to cost $200.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare wants to go back to the roots of the franchise. Recently, the official Call of Duty Twitter account revealed that "Killstreaks" are back. Killstreaks reward players for getting a number of kills in a row. For example, if you kill three other players, you can summon a drone that scans the map and reveals enemy locations. The rewards escalate from there. In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, you could call in a nuclear strike after defeating 25 enemies.
In order to discourage camping, the rewards for getting a few Killstreaks include the ability to drive a tank and acquire almost-invincible armor for a limited time. Instead of simply sticking to the same corner of the map, players will be forced to move around if they want to utilize many of the rewards. How successful this is remains to be seen.
