Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Sonic Adventure hit Xbox backward compatibility
Two more games are hitting the Xbox One backward compatible list today.
The list of backward compatible games on Xbox One is getting a little bigger today. Xbox's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb has revealed two more Xbox 360 games, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Sonic Adventure, have been added to the backward compatible list.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is an interesting addition because it is also available for Xbox One. Still, if you already own it for Xbox 360 and never picked it up for Microsoft's newer console, its arrival on the backward compatible list means you won't have to bust your 360 out just to play it again. This is the seventh Call of Duty game to be added to the backward compatible list.
Sonic is another franchise that is well-represented on the backward compatible list already, and its presence only grows with Sonic Adventure. The 3D Sonic title lets players control Sonic and his friends once again to stop Dr. Eggman in a rerelease of the original Dreamcast game. This is the tenth Sonic game to join the list.
If you already own either of these two games on Xbox 360, you should be able to install them and jump in on your Xbox One now. Otherwise, both are available on the Xbox 360 Marketplace as well. And for more, check out our comprehensive list of backward compatible games.
