Free DLC coming to Borderlands 2 today; Handsome Collection now in Game Pass
Bridge the gap between Borderlands 2 and 3.
What you need to know
- Borderlands 2 gets new DLC today for free.
- Borderlands 3 received a new trailer.
- Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is now available through Game Pass.
A whole lot of Borderlands announcements were just dropped on Microsoft's stage at E3 2019. First off, Borderlands 2 is getting anew DLC today. Yes, you read that correctly. A seven year old game is getting new story campaign DLC. Commander Lilith and the Fight for Sanctuary is exactly what it sounds like as our favorite Siren puts out a distress call asking for help defending the Crimson Raiders' outpost.
We also got a brand new look at Borderlands 3 that showcases the mayhem that awaits players this September. I've already had the opportunity ti play Borderlands 3 at its gameplay reveal event, and this trailer only makes me more excited to get my hands on it again.
Lastly, Microsoft announced that Borderlands: The Handsome Jack Collection is now available through Xbox Game Pass. Lucky for you, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is only $1 right now. If you haven't played it yet, now's the time.
Prepare for the fight of the galaxy
Borderlands 3 looks to be releasing sooner than a lot of us expected. Pick your new favorite Vault Hunter and get ready to save the worlds. No pressure or anything. Oh, and watch out for the wildlife.
