BioWare's next game titled 'Anthem' – full reveal at Microsoft E3 press conference

Electronic Arts has announced Anthem – a new game franchise currently in the works at BioWare. Revealed as a part of the publisher's EA Play press conference, the title has received a short teaser trailer ahead of its gameplay reveal on June 11.

From the renowned developer behind the Mass Effect franchise, Anthem appears to be an action-adventure experience set within a prehistoric setting. While details are thin, the title seems to follow a society taking refuge within a fortified settlement, where armored soldiers are used to hold back hostile forces.

A full gameplay reveal for Anthem is scheduled for Microsoft's E3 2017 press conference tomorrow, at 5 PM ET / 10 PM BST. Having been debuted at EA Play shortly after discussing Project Scorpio's hardware benefits, we expect the game to be among those showcased on Microsoft's upcoming console.

For now, we'll just have to sit back admire the teaser trailer, ahead of the full gameplay showcase. Make sure to let us know what you think of Anthem in the comments section.
