New Beyond Good and Evil 2 trailer features a villainous Jade
Beyond Good and Evil 2 is a hybrid of skillful combat and boundless exploration.
Today, Ubisoft held its annual E3 press event in Los Angeles. A lot of new games were announced and we got an in-depth look at Beyond Good and Evil 2 for Xbox One and other platforms.
The highlight of the show had to be Beyond Good and Evil 2 because we got a new trailer showcasing the grittiness of the world and the threats that inhabit space. Apparently Jade is the villain of the game even though it's a prequel. The humanoid pig Pey'j also makes an appearance. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out.
In Beyond Good and Evil 2, players journey to System 3. You fight alongside unforgettable characters in a new solar system, as you struggle for freedom and the right to determine your own fate.
System 3 has become the center of interstellar trade and colonization in the Milky Way due to the creation of "Hybrid Slaves". While private enterprises fight over resources and power, the first colonists weave together the rich and diverse cultural heritage of "Old Earth" to give meaning to their existence. In this new era of piracy, players will rise from a lowly pirate to a legendary captain.
The solar system is vast and takes place in a multicultural world, capturing the essence of the original with intense drama that plays out across vast distances.
Beyond Good and Evil 2 is an action-adventure role-playing title that you can experience alone or in co-op. It's not a massively multiplayer online game like many assumed. Ubisoft is asking fans to create art, music, and radio stations for the title and the publisher is working with Joseph Gordon-Levitt's HitRecord to make it happen. Content creators will be paid for their hard work.
You play as a space pirate captain at the end of the 24th century and explore exotic locations. Ganesha City is just one of the areas you'll discover which is a sprawling metropolis filled with opportunities and threats. More information will be revealed later this year at an event called "BG Fest".
