Bethesda reveals DLC release dates for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
Eager to jump into more Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus? Bethesda has revealed just when you can expect more content to drop.
Even before Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus was released, Bethesda has outlined some pretty interesting DLC plans. But although the first bit of content, dubbed Episode Zero, is already available, Bethesda was pretty mum on just when to expect the other three planned chapters, until now, anyway. The publisher has revealed when we can expect further DLC packs to drop, starting with "The Adventure of Gunslinger Joe" on December 14.
The post-launch content will see players shedding series protagonist BJ Blazkowicz in favor of a new batch characters. Here's a look at what to expect when:
- The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe - December 14: As former professional quarterback Joseph Stallion, smash through Nazi hordes from the ruins of Chicago to the vastness of space!
- The Diaries of Agent Silent Death - January 30: As ex-OSS agent and assassin Jessica Valiant, infiltrate Nazi bunkers in California and discover the secrets of Operation San Andreas!
- The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins - March 2018: As the US Army's renowned hero Captain Gerald Wilkins, embark on a mission to Nazi-controlled Alaska to dismantle Operation Black Sun!
In all, Bethesda is promising more than nine hours of extra content with the full complement of DLC, dubbed The Freedom Chronicles. If you're interested in checking it out, you can grab the full lineup as part of the $24.99 Freedom Chronicles Season Pass, or pick up each episode individually. Of course, if you're a fan of the Wolfenstein franchise, the base game is well worth checking out as well, particularly if you have an Xbox One X.
