  • Bethesda Game Studios recently hired Stephanie Zachariadis, head writer on the Fallout: London mod.
  • Zachariadis is now working as an Associate Quest Designer.
  • Fallout: London is a "DLC-sized" mod project for Fallout 4 that's currently in development.
  • Bethesda Game Studios is working on multiple upcoming projects, including Starfield.

Bethsda Game Studios hired the lead writer on the Fallout: London mod, the mod team confirmed. Head writer Stephanie Zachariadis is now an Associate Quest Designer at Bethesda Game Studios. The team on the mod confirmed that this doesn't mean any of her prior work is being discarded, as while she can't continue working on the mod, everything done so far is still in place.

Hiring modders is hardly unheard of across the video game industry, with many writers, designers, producers and others getting their start by modding various games. Zachariadis now works at the Austin, Texas branch of Bethesda Game Studios, which is one of four studios under the Bethesda Game Studios umbrella, sitting alongside its sister studios in Maryland, Montreal and Dallas, Texas.

Bethesda Game Studios has multiple upcoming projects, including the science-fiction role-playing game Starfield, which is currently slated to launch on November 11, 2022, exclusively on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC.

Bethesda also recently announced The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition, which includes over 500 pieces of Creation Club content and is launching on November 11 later this year, marking the 10-year anniversary of Skyrim. While no new Fallout game is currently publicly stated to be in development, Bethesda is continuing to work on new content for Fallout 76, including customizable servers coming in September.

After Microsoft finalized its acquisition of ZeniMax Media earlier in 2021, Bethesda Game Studios (and the rest of of Bethesda Softworks) became part of the Xbox first-party family of studios.
