Shadow Labyrinth (2025)

Shadow Labyrinth is a reimagines the light-hearted Pac-Man arcade franchise into a dark, side-scrolling Metroidvania action game. As the mysterious being known as Swordsman No.8, you wake up one day to find yourself stranded on an alien world filled with horrifying monsters and guided by the will of an enigmatic yellow orb called PUCK.

With your swordsmanship and PUCK’s destructive power to consume anything in its path, you must devour your enemies to become stronger enough to survive and explore this unforgiving to find the true meaning of your existence.

Subnautica 2 (2025)

The critically-acclaimed underwater survival game, Subnautica, is at long last getting a next-gen sequel and its coming to Xbox Game Pass, Day One. Craft deep-sea exploration tools, bases and vehicles, and use them dive deep into the abyssal oceans of an alien world filled with wonderous ecosystems and terrifying sea creatures.

The Alters (2025)

The Alters is a third-person, base-building adventure game created and published by 11 bit studios. You play as Jan Dolski, a space explorer who unfortunately crash-landed on a dangerous planet where being exposed to the rays of a nearby sun can kill you.

To matters more complicated, Jan Dolski stumbles upon a local substance called Rapidium that somehow creates alternate copies of himself called Alters. With the sun’s rays fast approaching, Jan must employ the help of his Alters to fix his ship, scavenge for supplies to survive, and get off this planet before the sun burns him to a crisp.

The Legend of Baboo (2025)

The Legend of Baboo is an upcoming action-adventure made by Permanent Way Game Co. and published by Midwest Games. This game tells the story of a young man named Sepehr and his dog Baboo embarking on a perilous journey to save their family after an ancient evil force has taken over their home island.

Together, Sepehr and Baboo will use their skills to explore treacherous locales, solve deadly puzzles, and overcome towering enemies.

The Outer Worlds 2 (2025)

The Outer Worlds 2 is a sequel to The Outer Worlds, a first-person RPG created by Obsidian Entertainment. Not much information is currently known about this title except that it, will feature more crew members, new galaxies to explore, and the same dark humor as the first game.

The Sinking City 2 (2025)

The Sinking City 2 is a third-person action-horror game inspired by the works of the famous sci-fi author, H.P. Lovecraft. Set in an alternate version of 1920’s America, the player is pulled into a horrifying adventure where they must collect an arsenal of weapons to fend Lovecraftian monstrosities and find a way to escape the city of Arkham alive with their sanity intact.

The Witcher 4 (TBA)

The Witcher 4 is the long-awaited follow-up to The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt, CD Projekt Red’s most successful and critically acclaimed RPG to date. This title will start a new trilogy featuring Ciri, Geralt’s adopted daughter and secondary protagonist from The Witcher 3, as the franchise’s new main protagonist.

Aside from that, all that’s known about this game at this time is that Ciri has become a fully-fledged Witcher hunting monsters for money and that players will determine her moral choices about how she handles quests and the dark, cruel injustices of her world.

Towerborne (2025)

Towerborne is an upcoming hack n' slash game being developed by Stoic, the creators behind the critically-acclaimed Banner Saga series. You play as a band of warriors led by Ace, a hero prophesied to save humanity during its darkest hour.

Chop down the forces of evil alone or call your friends to form a 4-player party to trek the monster-filled ruins of the City of Numbers and save the day.

Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 (2025)

Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is an upcoming RPG developed by The Chinese Room and published by Paradox Interactive. This game takes place in Seattle and the player assumes the role of a Kindred, a term used to describe a common type of vampire.

As a newly made child of the night, the player must learn to keep their hunger for blood in check, make sure to keep their vampiric identity secret, and defend themselves against hostile vampires, humans, and other horrifying creatures.

Winter Burrow (2025)

Winter Burrow is an upcoming survival game where you play as adorable little mouse trekking through a winter wasteland to search for your lost aunt and repair your broken childhood burrow.

Players will be tasked with gathering resources to rebuilt their burrow with new furnishings and prepare gear to help them forage for food in the forest.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (2025)

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers is an upcoming soulslike action-RPG set in a dark fantasy interpretation of China’s Ming Dynasty time-period. You play as Wuchang, a pirate warrior suffering from amnesia and a curse called Ornithropy which grants her supernatural powers at the cost of bringing her immense pain.

To recover Wuchang’s lost memories, you must journey across a war-torn land and slay hordes of horrifying abominations by mastering Wuchang’s martial arts skills and deadly magical powers.
