Basketball Live bounces into the Windows Phone Store
Just in time for the upcoming NBA Season, Basketball Live has landed in the Windows Phone Store. The regular season for the National Basketball Association begins on October 30, 2012 and Basketball Live will help bring all the news, scores, and highlights of the season to your Windows Phone.
Basketball Live is from the same group, Denham Software Solutions, that developed NFL Live and Baseball Live. Basketball Live shares many of the same features as the football and baseball versions.
Basketball Live's main pages cover news, scores, team stats, and a More Page that includes league stats, videos, NBA Tweets and the apps' settings.
Key features for Basketball Live include:
- Latest NBA Basketball news
- Ability to share a news article through email, Facebook or twitter
- Live scoreboard of current games
- Live Game details including stats and detailed play information
- When viewing game details shake your phone to refresh the score
- Twitter feeds for the NBA, ESPN, NBC, TNT, Yahoo Sports
- Team Information including schedule and roster information
- Ability to set your favorite team which will create a unique app landing page unique to your team
- ESPN videos
While the app is not affiliated or endorsed by the NBA, Basketball Live is a well designed, information packed app for your Windows Phone. If you need to keep track of the NBA season while on the go, Basketball Live is an app worth trying. The only thing missing is a NCAA Basketball section.
Basketball Live is a free app for your Windows Phone that you can snatch up here at the Windows Phone Store.
Thanks, Brock, for the tip!
