The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep is a dungeon crawler from inXile Entertainment and legendary designer Brian Fargo. Fargo has worked on experiences like Fallout, Wasteland, and Torment: Tides of Numenera in the past. Many older PC gamers will immediately recognize the series, and the latest entry doesn't disappoint. On Xbox One, it's called The Bard's Tale IV: Director Cut and features a number of enhancements.
When The Bard's Tale IV launched on Xbox One, it lacked Xbox One X enhancements. The game is quite blurry on both consoles and, curiously enough, lacked a resolution bump on the powerful model. However, that's about to change quite soon. We've been asking the developer when it planned on upgrading the game for Xbox One X, and today we received an answer. An exclusive statement released to Windows Central by a spokesperson said the following.
Our next patch will add dynamic resolution scaling for those playing on Xbox One X, allowing for up to 4K. We're aiming to have that update out next week.

The Bard's Tale IV focuses on challenging combat that rewards creativity, various puzzles that lead to treasure, and a lot of environmental variety. In the dark ruins below, an evil has waited patiently for its time.
